St Regis, Marriott Marquis and a Convention Centre: The Airport City Gets Its Defining Anchor
Prestige Group and BACL have announced a 1.5 million sq ft integrated destination at Bengaluru Airport City, the kind of convention infrastructure the city has not had at scale.

Convention infrastructure changes the character of a city in ways that office buildings alone cannot. It brings a different quality of visitor, a different frequency of international engagement, and a different category of supporting economy. Bengaluru has not had this at scale. Until now.
On June 11, 2026, Prestige Group and BACL, Bengaluru Airport City Limited, announced a 1.5 million sq ft integrated destination within Bengaluru Airport City.
At a construction cost of Rs 1,800 crore, the development includes a world-class convention and exhibition centre, two luxury hotels, premium offices and F&B.
The hotels comprise 200 keys under the ultra-luxury St Regis brand and 600 keys under the Marriott Marquis, for 800 keys in total.
The architect is Kohn Pedersen Fox of London, the firm behind landmark mixed-use projects worldwide.
Construction starts in 2027 with completion targeted for 2031, located within BIAL's 4,000-acre concession, of which 400 acres are dedicated to Airport City development.
The convention centre will be one of South India's largest, capable of hosting international conferences, global summits and large-scale exhibitions.
As BIAL CEO Hari Marar put it, the next phase of urban growth will be defined by the ability to create destinations that bring enterprise, talent and ideas together at scale. For the Devanahalli and North Bengaluru corridor, this project is exactly that kind of anchor.
